Don't waste your money!!!!

We chose to stay at the rimrock for a evening on a long weekend. It first started when we walked in and were told you had to pay to park at this hotel $40 for valet then a tip of course or $17 to park your OWN vehicle!!!!!!! Then when we finally get to our room ( parking on opposite side of hotel) the hallways were full of dirty dishes and laundry and smelt horrible! Cleaning staff " cleaning " and then our room was your standard " motel " room ..... Sorry likely could have had better at a way cheaper motel or lodge on the strip! The only thing good about it was the view and even then it's a great view ( of everyone else's rooms) . Then we went to connect to wifi....... Hahahahahahahah free????? Ya ..... NOT HERE!!! $15 for 24 hours my goodness you could get free wifi and parking at the super 8! Also you need to find your own breakfast on top of all that you have paid for!!!!!! ! Oh and for those with children!!!! DO NOT STAY HERE just before 10pm getting our kids off their sugar high and just excitement of being on vacation we get a sudden banging ( and I mean banging not just a knock) on our door telling us there were noise complaints ! I'm sorry if you need to refrain your children from speaking then you should make your hotel Children Free not pet free! Absolutely makes me furious to know how much we spent on this stay here and our children cannot even enjoy themselves one bit. My husband and I would never bring our family here again nor would we recommend this resort ! We are a wealthy family and could stay at any resort this is by far the worst we've stayed at yet !

Beautiful accommodations in the Rockies

Attending a business conference at the Rimrock, this was my first visit to the hotel but not my first stay in Banff. The location is superb - very close to the gondola and hot springs, and the most amazing views of the area. Loved the hotel itself, it is elegant and luxurious. The rooms are heavenly, they are even stocked (or were at the time) with Aveda bath and hair products. I await my next trip to Rimrock!
