    Bike is running again!

This summer my wife and I decided that we wanted to start riding again, the problem was is that my bike needed a major tune up! I called around and visited Cactus Bike & Ski. They were quick to diagnose the problems and fix what needed to be fixed! I was up and running with some new parts asap! Thanks for letting me enjoy the summer!

Whether you’re a first-time cyclist or a pro, the folks at the family-owned Cactus Bike & Ski love to talk bikes and take pride in finding the perfect fit for your riding style. “We treat you like a human being and take care of you and make sure you get the right product,” says part-owner Steven Haar. “We are fair and passionate about it. We work hard and treat people right.”

Steven is the second generation of Haars to run Cactus Bike & Ski, which opened to Calgary bike enthusiasts in 1981. The sport of cycling is fast becoming the leading sport of choice for many locals and Steven is happy to be a part of it. “I love the diversity of it. There are so many different types. There's long rides and there’s adrenalin-pumping mountain biking. It’s evolved so much,” says Steven. “It’s good for you. It’s low-impact, high-cardio. It’s probably the best exercise you can do for yourself. ”
