They were doing work at my neighbour's residence. Incredibly rude and disrespectful when I asked them not to place their equipment on my property and advised them that 311 had been notified about my concerns under the Drainage Bylaw. He called me Karen, laughed and then told me that "I didn't know how it worked" and we would "see what happens". Snickering the verbal abuse continued as he put on a show for his coworkers. Keep this experience in mind when you are selecting a contractor.
