While enjoying Dungeons & Dragons and other role-playing games in high school, Cory Fliegel dreamed of one day owning his own game store. That dream that came true in 2007 when he opened Myth Games in Calgary. “Business has been better than I had expected,” says Cory. “Retail is always a tough grind, but if you can get through the first few years, it seems to go the way it should.”
Cory credits his loyal customers for his success. “We have an absolutely fantastic group of people that call Myth Games their gaming home,” he says. “Without them we wouldn’t be here. They are not just customers, but a part of our community.”
