Sandy Lee, the owner of Scent for You, probably has a greater appreciation for the primordial sense of smell than most people. “I’ve always liked scent. Even when I was little,” says Sandy. “It’s important. It changes our mood; it can affect a lot of things in our life.”
Sandy started Scent for You at the Calgary Farmers' Market, selling essential oils, incense and specialty air purifiers. “We really strive to have the highest quality of home fragrance products,” she says. Her products sold well, and she decided to make the leap to owning a store in 1999. Since then, she’s been able to expand her product offerings – and she’s still on the hunt for that perfect smell.
