We got Lindahl contracting to do our lawn and fence posts. They put my fence post too close to the exhaust and intake for my hot water tank and furnace. He claims that he out them where I asked I feel that I got a professional to do a job and it was his responsibility to be aware of things like that. He says he put them where I asked. I am scared to find out what will happen if our house doesn't pass final grade.

We were contracted to put in posts only, not build the fence. We put them in where the customer had marked. We offered to move the post for a minimal charge (to cover labor) but we were not responsible to find out HVAC regulations so we were not willing to cover the full cost of moving the post.
