Quality, integrity and three type-A personalities are the key elements of success for New West Renovations. Longtime friends and owners, Ron Butler, Tomo Sokol and Mike Steiner have a passion for re-building commercial spaces as well as people’s homes and subsequently, their lives. “It’s a way of improving the way people live,” says Ron, the company’s president. “I love that whole transformation.”

The business has undergone its own transformation. The three partners once worked from home, but now oversee a staff of 15 from a swanky office in an historic 102-year-old red-brick building on the corner of 14th Street and Kensington Road Northwest. “We’re all type-A personalities with different strengths that complement each other,” says Mike, vice-president of construction. “But we have the same vision and values. We want to give our customers what we would want ourselves.”
