It was 2013 when Linda Bell and Kayla Gilliland first decided to open Buttons & Bows. Today, the consignment shop and sewing workshop is a welcoming space where customers can shop for stylish, gently used women's clothing and also learn to sew and design with the best of them.
While on a family trip through Vancouver, the duo realized they had a shared love for the local boutiques that seemed to reflect and strengthen the surrounding urban neighbourhoods. Linda and Kayla were both passionate about the concept of a multipurpose boutique sewing lounge and decided they were up for the challenge of starting their very own business.
