I ordered 3 halibut and fish stripes and all our halibuts you couldn’t cut them with a knife way overcooked . I guess since you have to take your orders home with covid they are handing out crap like this unbelievable. Will never buy there again .
Restaurant was dirty, service was not all that great either. Food was Ok.
This place is a waste of time. When I moved to the neighbourhood I always noticed a constant flow of people, which I thought was good because it meant it was busy with happy customers. But the more I think about it, maybe people saw the environment and changed their mind to walk out. One weekend I finally gave in to my craving of fish+chips, so we decided to go, big mistake! Given the price, the fish+chips were a distaster. The fish had soo much batter you could barely taste the fish, all you tasted was the deep fry batter. And the chips! Tasted and looked like it was 2 days old and just reheated upon request. My sister-in-law says she likes their onion rings ..... it's not the first time I disagree with her
DO NOT EAT HERE - NEW OWNERS HAVE DESTROYED THIS ONCE GREAT PLACE. We used to visit here a couple of times a month and it was the best ever, then, new owners took over and the first visit with the new owners was awful - fish was disgusting, thin, batter tasteless. I mentioned to the new owners that it was a terrible shame they changed the fish from what the previous owner used to serve, they insisted it was the same. I was a little insulted that they would think I wouldn't notice that the fish & chips had gone from a 91/2 to a 3 (at best). Tonight after almost a year of not walking in the place we were craving fidh & chips and decided to give it another try. To make a long story short, not only is the fish still garbage but they have now gone from fresh cut fries to horrible frozen showstring...you know,...the $0.99 kind you get at the grocery store. NEVER AGAIN. SAVE YOUR MONEY. DO NOT EAT HERE!!!!!!
We really love the fish and chips here. It is lightly battered and just like authentic English Fish and chips. We have never eaten in, we always get it to go or delivered so i am not sure about table service. Would highly recommend eating here.
