“I’m just somebody who doesn’t take life too seriously,” says Adam Thompson, founder of Friday Sock Co. Though he’s a veteran of the corporate world, Adam has also moonlighted as a stand-up comedian. This combination might explain his love for expressive, unique wardrobe choices that are still stylish and professional. “I wanted to integrate some individuality into my wardrobe. I was looking for something a little different,” he says. Socks were the perfect fit. They’re often out of sight, but are an excellent canvas for creativity.

Friday Sock Co. offers a wide selection of mismatched socks. The mismatching is very subtle, but the effect is still strong. They’re attractive and stylish, not something you need to worry about “getting away with” at the office. One design features a purple sock with small black and white clouds on one foot and matching umbrellas on the other.
