Corner Stone Grill est un établissement chaleureux. Ce lieu apprécié est ouvert tard tous les jours de la semaine. Les moyens de paiement admis sont Interac, MasterCard et Visa.
I ordered the baked potato soup, got a bowl of creamy mashed potatoes with a dollop of sour cream and a sprinkle of shredded cheese and a tiny pinch of crumbled bacon.
I was expecting a home-made cream of potato soup with chunks of potatoes (skin on), with a layer of diced chives, shredded cheese, a handful of bacon crumble, and a spoonful of sour cream.
I ordered the perch dinner, and was quite impressed with the perch, the sweet potato fries and the veggies.
My biggest complaint however, is the amount of perfume the staff was wearing. Our server, although pleasant, was making me feel ill every time she walked by. Her perfume was over-powering the taste of my food.
Normally I order a drink with my dinner when I go out some place nice but I have to say, the server's perfume was making me so dizzy that alcohol would have just been a bad move.
For the restaurant, that means they lost out on an additional $30 on our bill, not to mention the fact that we didn't stay for dessert, that's another $15-$20. If the wait staff learn to moderate, or eliminate their perfume/cologne, the restaurant would make close to $50 more per table easily.
Will we be back, probably not. sorry.
This restaurant is the best available in Caledonia. It has a very large menu which is nice because you have lots to choose from. The service is always fast and pleasant. I have been going there about ten times/year for about 5 years now. I can't see that pattern changing any time soon.
