Ginny Allen might be the smallest person in the throng of Toronto's motorcycle enthusiasts, but there is no doubt that she's the one in charge. She's been teaching so long that she's trained most of the instructors who now work for her. Accordingly, she gets a lot of respect — not only for her authority as the founder of MotorSoul Riding School, but also for her skill. Twenty years experience without a single accident shows her riding prowess is more than just talk.
Ginny is quite used to standing out in the crowd. When she first learned to ride a motorcycle, she was surrounded almost entirely by men. Nowadays, she's less of an anomaly, but still unique. She's the only Canadian woman to found her own motorcycle riding school, write original curriculums, and design a training methodology that is unlike any other in Ontario. The trail-blazing entrepreneur founded MotorSoul in 2013 after ten years of teaching at other schools.
"Working at other schools, I felt like there was something missing — something that could be done better," Ginny explains. "I started my school so I could do things my way."
