I dropped my lapt...

I dropped my laptop breaking the charging port inside my laptop, the laptop it was on, working fine and I continued to use for several minutes on battery power with no issue. Brought it to be fixed. A week later they call me saying the DC jack is fixed but now the laptop won't turn on, and that there may be additional charges to diagnose the issue. Long story short, another repair shop told me they more then likely short circuited the motherboard. laptop = wont turn on. still paid for service
