What does your job have to do with your computer speed and memory capacity? Everything, as far as Kia Naderi, owner of Rosedale Computers and Electronics Inc., is concerned.
In order to make the ins and outs of your computer crystal clear, Kia will illustrate an issue or question with something familiar to his customer. “Say someone is a teacher. I’ll use an example from their job to explain why they may not need so much memory, for example. Or if they are looking for the highest speed, I’ll illustrate why it may or may not be necessary, again through something tangible that they can understand.”
This isn’t "dumbing down" - Kia can talk with the best of them when it comes to IT and technology. Instead, it is making the world of technology more accessible and understandable to customers who just want their computer to do what they need it to do without having to know the far end of a fibre channel.
“I don’t blind people with numbers and jargon,” explains Kia. “It means nothing to most people unless they are seriously into computers.”
