This comment is overdue. I would like to take a moment to express how very much my husband and I enjoy and appreciate Fisher’s independent in Beaverton. The staff at this store are true professionals and it is clear to us that they enjoy working there.

I would ABSOLUTELY recommend Horseshoe Valley Paint Co. The team goes above and beyond to accommodate our needs. They always take the time to fit us in at most often a very short notice. I look after a retirement home and turn arounds could happen at anytime within days. Ian and his team are always there for us to meet our deadlines, and most often with a little time to spare. The T-trap in the bathroom sink started to drip. I managed to remove the T-trap pipe so I could take it to a plumbing store to source the part. A friend said I should replace the entire lower sink pipes with ABS, because metal will leak over time. That job was far beyond me, so I called D&S Services. Steve and Denis stepped into action and fixed the problem in a professional and expedited manner. I look forward to calling them again and certainly recommed them! Joyce

My mother in law had plumbing medic do high pressure wash of all there drains this is how I found plumbing medic. My experience with the plumbing mecid was of complete satisfaction. Had them do a customized bath room. They were so clean (4 dropsheets) it was like they were never there, other then they do play horrible country music on there radio a little to loud. Pricing was spot on, I did order alot of high end components/fixtures with them. Want high end, it costs high end. What amazed me the most was the high end finish that they did. Adds a whole new feeling to walking to a bathroom.

Great little paper Just wondering if anyone is expanding on a report last week about lead levels in drinking water. A lot of people would like to know what Orillia’s numbers were and if the municipality has any plan to rectify the problem.

We were stranded when a small independant motel on Hwy 11 did not work out. Called at 6pm and they had 2 rooms ready for us within 15 minutes. The best value in the area. Well trained staff performed flawlessly. Considering we were 3 cold and wet hunters that had been in the bush for 12 hours we were treated like kings!
