Margo gave me a beautiful cut without taking away the length. Its still down to my waist, just as I requested. Her technique was able to enhance the spiralling of the curls without sacrificing volume. Ill definitely be back. While I was quite attached to the stylists who had been cutting my hair in LA for many years, I am pleased tosay that Margo is just as good as some of the top curly hair specialists in Southern CA, if not better. I highly recommend her for anyone who has curly hair.

Studio 62 has been transformed into Head Case, a sleek modern space at the same location. Brandy is a great stylist who listens closely, works with her clients preferences, and does wonderful hair cuts. She gave me an elegant bob even though my hair is fine and really difficult to work with, plus the price was not exorbitant. If you are looking for a welcoming space and a meticulous cut, this is the place to go. In my experience it is by far the best salon in the West Shore!

The owner and operator is super friendly and social. She treats every customer with special care and makes sure they are happy. The owner said she is also an artist and that her job is not just to cut hair buit to design hair so that the customer is more beautiful and happier than before. She said this is what hair design means.

The people at Janza truly go above and beyond for their customers! My first time there, they stayed past closing time so I could have my hair done, and since I was in a rush, two of the hair stylists stayed late so they could BOTH work on my hair. Not only was their work done at super-human speed, but the results were gorgeous, and the price was right!

I came in to see Tara for a colour correction and she did an amazing job. She turned my relatively dark, brassy hair into a brilliant bright, ashy blonde. I am so happy with her work and excellent customer services skills and will most definitely be coming back for a touch up in a few weeks! Wonderful staff and always happy to accommodate their clients and help them to achieve their look in the a safe, professional manner.

I was looking for my wedding hair stylist online from Alberta as I live out of province and needed a somewhere local in Sooke that was economical and close to our venue. On my recent visit to the Red Mirror Salon, I was very impressed by their safety and sanitary Covid-19 practices. Its hard to find a stylist that can cut & colour my (asian) hair well, but Angelina was very skilled and did an amazing job! At the same time, the whole experience was so much fun because Angelina has such a great personality and I could tell she greatly cares for her clients. I will definitely be back in the future and I highly recommend!
