We were looking for an electrician that services the downtown Vancouver area to install a 20amp outlet in our copier room. After coming in for a quote he was able to fit us in the very next day and got the work done very quickly. He was very professional and we will use him again for any future needs. Simply put these guys are exceptional and reconnected my electrical service entrance when Hydro left us in the dark and cold at the end of Feb 2017 (tree cutting crew saw that that the utility wire was lying on the roof and immediately pulled our meter). They had us reconnected in what had to be record time and a full day under the time they predicted and within the budget they originally provided.
Could not be happier with their exceptional service and quality of workmanship.

John and his Protec team have worked on four houses we have bought over the years. John and his crew are always polite and do a super job on anything electrical. From rewiring an old knob and tube house to wiring a new house or business and as simple or complex alarm system as needed. Protec has also done small jobs for us over the years, adding a couple of outlets, inside the house and outside. John and his Protec crew have pretty well done it all for us over the years, always at a very fair price and always right the first time!

Trent is a very hard working professional who is willing to deal with any electrical problem. In our complex, a 30-year-old building, Trent has replaced all the old lighting fixtures with more economical LED fixtures.

I don't usually write reviews, but it seams these days you see so many bad ones I felt I had to write about my experience with Active Electric. I found them online and of course was leary about what I was going to get... BUT not only was Active able to help me with my small bathroom fan issue... they came the same day I called (who does that anymore) and fixed it quick (45min.) even though they had to go purchase a new fan and come back. They were clean and they only charged me for the 45 min not an HOUR like most places wanted to do...
I have since recommended them to my Parents who also used them successfully.
So yay for Active...
