I have been dealing with K-W Sewing Machines for about 6 years and due to the great service and competence of the staff I will continue to go there in the future. The staff is very helpful and knowledgable, they make their customers feel like they are the only ones in the store and do not rush you in any way. We bought a Singer sewing machine from this location, it has worked flawlessly; My wife uses it regularly and couldn't be happier with it; I recall the gent who took care of us as very friendly and helpful, in my opinion it's a great local business to have in the Oshawa area.

I recommend going to Stoney Creek Sewing Centre for all your alteration needs! The Best Place in Town! I have been here a few times. Jack is very knowledgeable, professional and super friendly. He does a perfect job with my altering requests every time! The prices are great and the service is exceptional. Thank you for taking such great care of your customers, Jack! I inherited an older Sewing Machine, branded Kenmore, believed to be a 1976 model.
It had not been used in years and upon examination, I found the bobbin to be all tangled up and needed lots opf attention.
I went to several repair places and was told the machine was obsolete...junk...throw it away as no parts were available.
I took it to Gerties...They had all the parts that were needed and within 20 minutes...it was UP AND RUNNING...
If you have any older machine GO THERE...

I ABSOLUTELY love this store. The staff is super friendly and so helpful. I am an avid quilter and knitter and I always find the most unique yarn and fabric. This is by far my most favourite quilting and knitting store.
I do not know what Ayashino was even talking about in her review below. There is plenty of parking in the lot behind as well as street parking. I find the staff very helpful and way more friendly than big box stores. Also I am under 40 and they are wonderful to me. Also I think Ayashino might be making things up in her review because I have never seen embroidery yarn that expensive as she complains about.
This store inspires me to be creative and they teach me so many wonderful things. I can't recommend it enough!
