This has to been one of the best Fish and Chips places I have ever eaten at..... The Halibut is large and thinly battered... nice and crisp... The Chips are real homemade potatoes never frozen...
All the British things like Burnt (Well Fired) Bread, mushy peas, etc.
They have also very health choices and with grilled fish and a salad...
This is a regular treat for me

Although they're famous for their chicken, we'll be going back for their fish (and maybe try the chicken for my 'no way I'm eating fish' husband). My son and I were looking for a quick bite for lunch after doing some shopping at the nearby Scholars Choice and found this place. Smelled soo good. As we didn't see a lot of prices or labels, my son ordered the Portuguese sausage sandwich and I lingered over the windows filled with mountains of fish, rice, potatoes and was served by a very pleasant and helpful young man. I asked about a particular dish and ended up ordering the amazing looking and super delicious cod with a side of potatoes, The server put two layers of potatoes in a good sized container, covered it with the huge portion of cod and then he began spooning a loving amount of the yummy sauce over the dish. As it really isn't a sit down place, we were hungry and ate there. I paid less than $20 and was in heaven. My son enjoyed his sausage but will definitely order the cod next time. Was surprised to read about 'grumpy' servers. Ours even thanked us for coming on our way out. Maybe because it was in the early Friday afternoon, we saw that customers were served quickly (looked like they ordered huge quantities ahead) and courteously. Definitely going back for that cod. Pssst...I overhead the guy tell someone its only available Fridays and Saturdays.

First time experience with Red Lobster was the busiest time of the year for restaurants, (mother's day). This is the best fish and chips that I've ever tried in Toronto. (I went there on the advice of a friend and would have never have gone here without that recommendation).
It's a very unassuming place, with fairly drab surroundings. But the fish is top notch, with large portions at a good price. I don't really know what else to say besides that. It's fish and chips and it's GOOD.
(If it weren't for the location, I'd come back more often.)

My Husband & I went in August for our Anniversary and had a great time! Food was excellent, had the prime rib and melted in your mouth! The server brought us a special dessert which was unexpected and made our night!

I have been going to chubby’s for about 32 years now and can’t say enough about the restaurant! My husband and daughter love the burgers and fish and I love their fish and Greek salad ? haven’t had their burgers but I have no doubt they are amazing! I am so glad to see they are doing well under these circumstances of the pandemic
