My husband,and I came upon this restaurant last year. We have lived here for 30 married years, and never new it existed. We received a coupon in the mail, and gave it a try. So happy we did! The atmosphere is homey, and every waitress we have had is happy, and always smiling, and checks on you, to make sure eeverything is ok. The food is tasty, and not greasy. We had the Steak & Shrimp on Sunday,and we were very pleased. We really recommend this restaurant. So happy we found it! We will be back

I really like this place. One of the cleanest Meat shops I have ever been too and the Quality is good too. I would recommend their peri-peri and bbq wings. Excellent taste and spices used are totally different from others. Lot of variety to select from .

The best Asian restaurant in Oakville by far! We have been long time customers, dined and taken out food dozens of times over the past 12 years and NEVER been disappointed. Coconut beef curry is tender and exquisitely flavoured. Great food at very affordable prices.

Hi,
I visited this place early on a quiet Sunday afternoon in December with a friend, and a $45 voucher. Even though I had waited over a year before using it (no expiry date), the staff were very warm & gracious.
They feature an overwhelming variety of food, so I asked the server about what she suggested, based on my specific preferences. Her suggestion was perfect for my taste.
The portions were very generous (enormous amount of food for only $9 - $11). It was brought to us quickly and it was hot, fresh & delicious. Two of us had $45 to use, & since our first round was only $23 (for both) we went home with a complete second round "to-go".
This will be 1 of the VERY FEW places that I have tried for the FIRST time on a voucher, & will be HAPPY to return.
Good work China Village. Expect us back!

We love Swiss Chalet, especially this location and have been going for years, it's the closest to homemade, it's fast service and the prices are great! The staff at this location are amazing people and always quick to serve you and get you what you want. I can't say enough about this location, it's all good in every way. Always greeted with a smile. We will continue going to this Swiss Chalet because I haven't found one like it, even though they are all from the same chain, they are still different. Keep up the great work.....

I got here for lunch often because it is close to my work. Prior to that my boyfriend took me a few times too, since he lives nearby and loves the place.
I'm quite surprised at some of the reviews here though. I love the place! I feel very welcomed, the service is good, and the atmosphere is quite nice. I've never been disappointed with their food, and find the quality much better than some restaurants. That said, I would note that I find them to be a bit pricey.
So overall, it's a great place! If you like friendly staff, good food, and nice environment go here.
