5 years ago our cat was hit by a car and it was 11:30pm by the time we found him. When he was barely able to move, we knew that we had to get him some care and fast. Our normal vet was closed and there seemed to be few options. Then, looking in the Yellow Pages, we found the ad for Vancouver Animal Emergency Clinic and thank goodness we did. As it turned out, our cat was in shock and suffering from a broken pelvis and a dislocated hip. Without the expert care and fast response of the veterinarians at the Animal ER it is likely that our cat would not have made it until morning. The caring staff ensured that they got him the care that he needed overnight until we was stable enough to be transferred to our vet for further treatment. The fact that he is dozing in the chair beside me today, 5 years later, is testament to the wonderful care provided at the Animal ER. If you find yourself in the unfortunate position of having to deal with a sick or injured animal you love and don't know where to turn, call the Animal ER.

I get all of my prescriptions filled at this store and the Pharmacy Department is outstanding. They're friendly, efficient and when they tell you it will be 10 minutes it is never longer and often shorter. They even give you a pager type thing-y to notify you when your prescription is ready so you can wander the store. Smart really because the store is big, bright and carries a great range of products. There is usually street parking available out front as well. Located at the corner of Burrard and Broadway this Shoppers Drug Mart is a great spot for your pharmacy needs and they're open to midnight too!

The Shoppers drug mart is west Vancouver's park royal mall is my favorite shoppers of them all. They have the most friendly and helpful customer care. I was recently helped by a very friendly woman who worked in the cosmetic department named Tina, who not only gave me her undivided attention, she answered all my questions about make-up and showed me demonstrations by applying the make-up on me, when I hadn't even bought a thing yet. She also showed me the sales, instead of shoving the most expensive products in my shopping basket and bankrupting me like typical beautician. I left a very happy customer, and now thats the place I'll go when I have questions about cosmetics!

The vets and staff really took the time and cared about my dog Spyro, they all treated her so well. When she had to be put down due to illness and old age (18 y.o.) they were compassionate and sincere.
I am forever thankful to them for extending my little girls life and keeping her as active and healthy as possible right to the end.

I highly recommend this pharmacist- knowledgeable, friendly, efficient, professional and kind. Always knows who I am and greets me by name. It is part of the west 10th 'community', a rapidly disappearing concept in the once lovely Vancouver. This is the place I have my prescriptions filled because I know the wait will be as short as possible and the service excellent.
