Excellent atmosphere and service. The coffee is fresh and roasted on site. I would recommend to everyone to taste mofer coffee at least once

Absolutely love this place. Sakawa is a rare authentic Japanese restaurant in the city. If you ever wanted to experience what folks in Japan normally eat, this is the place to go. The service is fantastic, the prices are great, food is absolutely fantastic.
Would I recommend this place and come back? You bet I will!

They have a bit of a different set up, you order your food then you sit down and get served. The place is cozy, and the food is good. The sandwiches especially are fantastic, and you have a good choice of bread. They also serve different coffees and teas, with organic coffee that's really good (I'm not a big coffee person).

As soon as we walked in, Elias knew it was the first time we were visiting. There were lots of other people that came and went while we ate our lunch and it was obvious he has lots of devoted customers and it's no surprise - the food is delicious and Elias is a really nice guy. The best thing we had was the 'lentil and rice' which looked like refried beans and tasted wonderful. The falafel and the hummus were also excellent. Since it was our first time, he gave us both a piece of apple cake which was also very good. The place is highly recommended for both it's food (quantity and quality for a super low price) as well as for the great service. Be warned - he's only open until 5 Monday to Friday and 3 on Saturday and you don't want to miss it!

Very friendly staff, and always very welcoming. Great place to stop in for a quick coffee, sandwich, or salad. The daily specials are also quite good!
