I had a problem with a company listed as a BBB member who would not talk to me about the problem. I went to BBB to look for resolution and found the company to be willing to talk. I did not get all I wanted but I did get a response and a reasonable resolution. It saved me the trouble and expense of litigation. I have given a high rating because this is all I could expect from the organisation, since my dispute was with a member and not the BBB itself. They were quite helpful, as was the company itself when I could finally talk to someone who cared.
