So fresh, and what wonderful batter. I went for the cod with a soda pop. Get your fresh fish to take home if you want too! Be prepared to wait for goodness and not a large seating area either.

The chowder is great, the fried oysters are great. Worth a trip before you go to Kate's park or Deep cove. It's tucked in a kind of industrial section, but the locals like it so you know it's good.

prices are a bit higher than if you were just getting toys at Walmart, but you get what you pay for generally. lots of quality toys and puzzles and games, and great ideas for kids gifts.

Had a great experience here the other day. I've been putting off getting my hair cut, but I was at the station and figured I might as well get one before I took the skytrain. The cut itself is fine―the stylist worked well with what little guidance I offered, including making sure it was something I could maintain with minimal effort. Normally I don't like being talked to while I get my hair cut, but he came off as so genuinely friendly that I didn't mind. Recommended.

Prices have gone up, VHS tapes from 1.99 to 2.99 inflation hits in the strangest places. As long as that increase goes towards a living wage for staff I don't mind. Good selection most days, But AVOID seniors discount day (i think its tuesday or wednesday) Unless you're a senior, then go ham gam gam.
