I have been to Lousiana last Summer and left with a bad experiance and thought of not going back again.. since all my friends forced me to go i went with them really I felt the difference comparing to my last vist.. its been newly renovated and a beautiful patio to relax and have a beer to chill out with friends. Staff really friendly and they have variety of food menu to decide on. They have a plate called land and sea which comes with lobster, Steak and shrimps which really value for money and good quality i was really impressed with the servise provided and i spoke to the Manager of Lousiana he told me how this was earlier and the new management is really working on with food quiality and provide great customer service... I will definelty go to Louisiana again and do recommand to my friends... WELL DONE LOUISIANA KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!!

Great food...best poutine in Peterborough. My Angel Smokey did not care much for fish...he had to have one final feast of Purveys before he went over the rainbow bridge. Very fussy kitty...so it had to be the best

The roti here is spectacular. They have goat, beef, chicken, veggie, etc.. Just enough heat in the curry, great potatoes, huge portions. So much flavor. It is the best roti I've had, period. The jerk chicken dinner is also very good.
That being said, I have heard some horror stories about the cleanliness of this place. I love that the owner has decorated the place to make it seem like a cultural oasis in an extremely white city, but it just NEEDS TO BE CLEANER. I don't want it yuppiefied. So, stick to food that has high turnover, like the roti.
The uniqueness and quality of the take out at a place like this is something that I would actually miss if I moved away from peterborough. That is saying something. The food is the only reason it is worth risking eating at a place that looks like it could not pass a health inspection.

One of my favourite things is to go down to St Lawrence on a Saturday with a friend who is peameal or eggplant obsessed (you know who you are!) and convince them that "this week, we go to Churrasco St Lawrence, and next week we'll get yours". We never go for their sandwich, because they are always instant converts.
All take-away, you can't miss with their huge Chicken Sandwich, what appears to be most of a chicken completely infused with the fantastic sauce with lettuce and tomato. With or without mayo.
The sandwich is enough to give you a big grin and a full belly, but I usually find room for a custard tart, something akin to a creme brulee taste in a buttery yet flaky, almost phyllo-style shell. Yeah.
They do full rotisserie chickens and a range of other foods too, but to be honest in 4 years I've never gotten past the sandwich. I'm hooked.
If you've had a night on the town, a few bites into this mamma jamma and you'll be saying the same thing I am.

Food is consistently excellent. Our waitress, Natasha, was awesome - friendly, efficient, and attentive. This is why we keep going back for an affordable but tasty meal.

We have visited Watermark several times, and unlike most of the posters have never had a problem. Except. they should ban smoking on the patio, although that might be a city bylaw. Our recent visit was a busy, sunny Sunday at around noon. We were told it would be about 10 minutes to be seated, actually it turn out to be around 5 minutes. After being seated our waitress showed up in good time and asked for our drink order, she showed up quickly with our drinks and took our food order. She said the kitchen was quite busy and our order might take a little longer than usual. We asked about appetizers that might hold us to the food arrived and she said they really don't serve them. Imagine our surprise when showed up a little while later with a plate of mini muffins for us, and then, refilled the plate. I know it's not much.....but it was something. And actually, it didn't seem like too long till our food arrived. The only complaint was from my daughter....kids.....who said, and this well be somewhat odd, her tacos had too much topping on them, and that the meat sauce made the tortilla chips "soggy". She may right on "soggy" bit, but she likes the chips most of all :-) . It was a good lunch, and everyone enjoyed their meal, although the accompanying salads with sandwiches were on the small side. Chicken club was made with a chicken breast, and lobster clubs had plenty of filling. If I have a different experience, I'll post it.

I really enjoyed it. We ordered 3 different rolls and some Sashimi for a group of 4 people and everything was prepared well. The service was great and the sushi was high quality.

I ended up at this restaurant today because I was craving a pork souvlaki but have been constantly disappointed by anything in Etobicoke. I found it on this site – there were so many over the top reviews that I thought they must be phony. However, once I read the review where someone had an argument with the owner over coleslaw juice getting on their fries and said they’d never go back (but admitted it was the best fish and chips in Toronto) I knew this place must be good.
Well I didn’t have the fish and chips but WOW – I had the best pork souvlaki I’ve had in years. The Greek salad was simple with a really fresh dressing. Next time I’ll try the fish and chips for sure.

Great food and service. We haven’t been to a store in over 2 weeks because of Covid-19 and decided to get takeout Fish & Chips tonite. I order over the phone and was told to arrive at 5:35. They only allowed one person in the Restaurant at a time. My food was hot, fresh and plentiful.
