We took a lot of time looking for our 'next' vehicle. We were very surprised at how poorly we were treated in some dealerships ... but Discovery Honda in Duncan changed all that for us. They made it easy to buy a vehicle with no nonsense and no pressure. We are absolutely delighted with all the people who helped us from Red our salesman, to everyone else who participated in our purchase. Stong's is another example of what a grocery store should be. Mostly food, lots of quality produce and fresh bakery and butcher selection and great service. I gather at one time there were several of these stores in the Lower Mainland and this store is the last of their kind. Thank goodness. A great place to buy all kinds of staples and also some hard to find items that aren't carried at major chains. Stong's is what the neighbourhood supermarket should be and their constant stream of customers is a testament to the quality and excellent customer service on offer.

I have to say, when I find I have Sunny as my checkout clerk I smile. He's a great guy with a (sunny) disposition. His line is always the longest and he get's his job done expertly and in good time. Shopping is not my favorite thing to do so it's nice to deal with a pleasant staff member.

You have to remember when going here that this is a wine tasting room, not a place to have dinner. The wine list is imaginative and approachable. The service on a good night is excellent, on a bad night is so-so, but the staff have always been very helpful with the wine choices, pairings, and flight recommendations. The food is charcuterie, not full meals. Use this place to meet up for a pre-dinner drink, or to end off the night with some wine appreciation.

I was pleasantly surprised to enjoy a nice meal in a department store. My table had their pizza and soup and it was fairly reasonably priced and very good. The service was attentive as well.

I have been here twice now. Once we were a table of two and the most recent time with a large group. Having a standing menu angled so you can read it to choose your meal is kind of neat. Allows them to update their menu easily. We had the assiette campanarde, rabbit, special beef cheeks and creme brûlée to finish it off. The food was delicious and well presented visually and the service very good.
