I wish that my local health clinic was more like this vet! Friendly, knowledgable staff, the vets are very professional and supportive. Theyhave stayed behind after hours to talk with me when I had questions, and will call you the day after a visit or surgery to make sure you and your pet are doing ok. They also do a lot of work with VOKRA and other rescue societies, to me this tells me that they are compassionate and not in it just for the money.
It is not cheap, but you get what you pay for! I highly reccomend Dr. Burstyn and his team to anyone who wants the best for their pet!

The Vet and staff of this Animal Clinic is phenomenal. My boy was sick and finally lost his battle. It was traumatic for me but the Vet and her staff called me to check up on my fur baby even through the holidays. They treated him and myself so tenderly and compassionately.
I highly recommend them in caring for your fur babies needs and care. Thank you so much Doctor and the staff...I shall never forget your kindness through such a traumatic time!

I have just rescued a Cat. Did a health check with Dr. Childs. My Cat's teeth were in bad shape and there were stones in her bladder. Scheduled for surgery and everything went fine.
Dr. Child and her staff are caring and kind. I would recommend this office to anyone for excellent care for their pets.

I cannot say enough good about Amherst. The staff is incredibly kind and highly professional. Our little dog, Casey, received the most gentle treatment and plenty of treats. When she became sick with mitral valve disease, Dr. Wark was always available and diligently cared for her. Casey did die, but, we are so thankful that her last months were filled with love. Amherst was a great support and continues to be as we nurse our 18 year old cat, Tiger, through her golden years. Dr. Yuen is making sure that Tiger enjoys every one of her nine lives. There have been several times where my heart was broken and I thought it was the end, but, through highly capable diagnosis, we still have our little girl. I can call anytime and come dashing in a minute before closing and I am always greeted by the kindest front end staff I could ever hope for. Amherst has been a part of our family for so many years and I could not be more grateful for the journey we have been privileged to share with this top-rate veterinary clinic.

I was very impressed with the care my pet received from Dr Lehay and her staff. My bird was very sick and they did a thorough examination, made good recommendations and appropriate referrals. Our bird would not have survived this illness if we had not gone in to see them. They are very professional, knowledgeable and the hospital space is fantastic. We would like to thank Dr Cichon for his excellent care out of our Welsh Terrier. Our regular vet could no longer provide treatment for her myasthenia gravis, a debilitating muscle disease. Dr Cichon, along with acupuncture sessions and supplements significantly improved her quality of life. We found Dr Cichon to be very compassionate and extremely knowledgeable handling such a difficult case. Thank you to Kathy, too.
