I have always wanted to try Milestones and finally went today for lunch as it is convenient to my hotel. If the bruschetta is any indication of the taste of their food, I will definitely be back! The lunch combo is a perfect way to try two dishes. The salad could have used more toppings, particularly the spicy glazed pecans but the vinaigrette is pleasant with the remaining greens. I love the fact that the bruschetta is on flatbread. Lots of goat cheese and great balsamic reduction! No need for dessert with this stuff! Wait staff attentive, service prompt, but not so fast you feel rushed.

I have visited this cafe for several times. Every time I was there, I was fully satisfied with the food, helpful staff. Ali - the Manager was very supportive and responsive. I would recommend this cafe ( they have specials during the week ).
Place is very nice, food is good too, service is amazing.

I first visited Allen's back in the 80's, not long after it opened, and I was instantly smitten. So much so, in fact that I moved into the neighbourhood! First I was a regular, then a nuisance, and finally a piece of furniture. I finally moved back to Markham in 1998, and cannot justify going anywhere south of Steeles Avenue without stopping into Allen's for lunch. The food is imaginative, superbly prepared, and so delicious, that even when I'm full, I often look at the menu again, just to see what I'll be ordering on my next visit!
And the patio? Don't get me started......

My family and I have been coming here for many years now. I don't know what the other 2 reviewers were talking about- the service is always great and the food is amazing. The ambience is wonderful and it is a great place for a date or a family outing. I highly suggest it!

Coming from Iran and feeling homesick , Roses New York really made me feel that im home. Their food is good and the service is just as good. Although I am satisfied with their food and service, I believe Roses New York can get even better.

Love the old time atmosphere. Staff are always friendly & efficient. Breakfast & lunch always consistant & reasonably priced. Never had a bad meal. If you're looking for home cooking, this is it! We go about 5 times a week.
