I have been going to J. Max mechanical exclusively for over 25 years. When I purchased a new Civic in 2006, I skipped the dealership's mechanical section and stayed with J. Max. I'm a woman and all the staff are respectful. They don't talk down to me or over my head. You won't find a flashy waiting room, just honest work at a fair price and good employees comfortable in their work environment. And yes, my '06 Civic is still running well.

My truck developed a coolant leak that I needed repaired ASAP and they got me in fast, replaced the water pump and I was on the road a few hours later. This is my second time in and both were outstanding! Support your neighbourhood small businesses when you can.
