The food and drinks here are excellent. My waiter Chris was an very nice and lovely waiter. I definitely would recommend this restaurant to family and friends. Can’t wait to come back here for some more of their delicious food!

The food was great, fresh, tasty, and great prices. It's warm and cozy inside, a great spot for a special dinner. On top of all the food being excellent the staff is also great, they are friendly, genuine, courteous, and make you feel at home. Definitely my favourite restaurant in Toronto.

Another delicious meal at Umberto's last night, with great service, a quiet table, and an unpretentious atmosphere. A side note, but important, they hit just the right note with the background music. Smooth jazz at just enough volume to enjoy. It was fairly quiet for a Thursday night, but the other half dozen or so tables were also filled with diners expressing their appreciation for a good meal.
Beef carpaccio was, like all the dishes, the perfect size portion. My husband and I shared it well as the bruschetta, which was a little too cheesy for me but perfect for him. The chef salad is a great mix of greens and veg with a nice vinaigrette. The ostrich and kangaroo - what can I say - grilled/sauteed just beautifully and mouthwateringly delicious. The Shiraz reduction was a very nice accompaniment to the kangaroo. Both entrees were served with roasted veg and potatoes, nicely seasoned, as well as a charming little fresh vegetable relish/slaw on radicchio. Shared a bottle of 2009 Rosemount Cab Shiraz, chosen from the small but interesting wine list, proved a good choice. We lingered over tiramisu and flourless chocolate hazelnut cake, preferring the tiramisu. The "Umberto" specialty coffee was a lovely finish to the meal. Ingredients were fresh, attention was paid to presentation, and the service was very attentive yet not intrusive. We will definitely be back. (I will try the seafood pasta next time - 3 of the table of 6 near us ordered it as their favorite)

Fabulous meal ! Owner and waitress were so hospitable. They both delivered food to our table and were very passionate about the food they were serving us.
From our experience we found the Wine & sparking water to be reasonably priced. We had the vapolicella wine which was $47 a bottle Not cheap but not expensive. Significantly better than Kamoosh in Waterdown, food wise and for price of wine. You can find bottle of wine for $40. Vs $21 a glass !

I would like to thank all the fine staff at Santo's for a very successful and fun evening yesterday. Our particular thanks to Mario and Maria for the culinary skills. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the food. I have had comments such as "that is the best Chicken Marsala I have ever tasted", "the food was excellent and so fresh", "the decor was lovely", "fantastic desserts, especially the tiramisu". Everything was great and hopefully we have drummed up some new customers.

8pm service was just right. The busy part of the night was ending and we were serviced nicely. Food had great taste and presentation. Giorgio took the time to wish each guest "Happy Valentine's" as they left. Nice touch.

I've been to Oregano's many times and know the staff quite well. I usually split a pizza to start (margherita) and get an entree, or pasta. I love the veal parmigana. My husband and I went the other night and had an amazing meal, a wonderful bottle of wine recommended by our server that was perfectly paired to our meal. Wether you are grabbing a quick bite before the show, eating a 3 course dinner, or sipping on an espresso on the patio you can't go wrong with this sweet little neighborhood find! Salut!

My family has been coming to Enzos for over 25 years. It is a great place for Italian food. The owners are very down to earth people, that go out of there way, to make sure everything is good. The staff is very friendly, and accomodating. We brought our kids there, from toddlers, They are now both grown up, and continue to eat at Enzos. I have tried almost everything on the menu. Never disappointed. The pasta sauces are excellent. Pizza's taste great. Lasagna, shrimp and scallop fettucine, chicken, veal dishes are all awesome. We have had a couple of private parties there, and everyone left full, and very satisfied! It is a great place for casual, or romantic dinners.
