Hands down best sushi in Vancouver. Tojo is a master. His sushi will take you to new levels. Be prepared to spend some money. Sake selection is great too.

I love Taf's. It has a Berlinesque feel to it and is one of kind. Such a relief in this franchised world! AND There are not TV's in every corner annoying the patrons. The art and music adds a unique atmosphere which is very pleasurable. It has an underground feeling with cozy seating upstairs. I always go to TAF's when I'm Downtown.

Good place for lunch with very reasonable prices. I haven't been for dinnner, but I am sure it is just as good. Will definitely go again.

Hands down great food eats here but long waits and your entire party needs to be present or they will not seat you, fair enough. I have been a few times now and all the food is very good and you have to start with one of their wonderful waffles and share your topping with the rest of your table to enjoy the different flavours. Worth waiting in line for.

I have been a frequent customer at your store since it opened.
Occasionally I notice an exceptional employee (there are many) and I commend them in this space.
Today I encountered such an employee and would like to commend him to your attention. Unfortunately, I don't have his name, but he is a taller man maybe in his thirties and he appeared to be Persian.
He was working very hard in the yogourt section at around 6:OO PM. I approached him and commented on his hard work:a valuable employee!

I try and hit up Rodney's whenever I am in Van.
Located on trendy Hamilton St. it's got some serious character. Sit at the bar for a great view of the oyster shucking and some lively chat with the bartenders. Staff is friendly with plenty of personality. They have an oyster happy hour 4-6pm (if I remember correctly) where it's half price oysters. And seeing as many of the oysters and ingredients come right out of the ocean around BC the food is beyond fresh.
And in case you were wondering, this place has the best selection of oysters I have seen yet. 11 different kinds on the last visit. My favorites being Fanny Bay and Kushi. Good selection of craft beer on tap too.

The staff are friendly, very knowledgeable about what birds are resident in Vancouver and when and more importantly what you need to put out to attract them to your yard. But the products don't stop at feed and feeders. They also offer field guides, nature themed gifts, binoculars and all sorts of other products to appeal to the wild bird enthusiast in you. Even better...if you get really serious about feeding the birds in your backyard, like we have, you can stock up when the seed is on sale! By purchasing multiple bags they will keep a record of your purchase and let you come in and pick up a bag here and a bag there as you need it.
