Having once lived up the road from Pain Perdu, and also having once lived in Lyon, France, I can say without a doubt that Yannick has truly brought the authentic boulangerie/patisserie experience to Toronto.
The coffee is excellent, and the sweets are superb.

This pastry shop sets the standard by which other pastry shops should be compared. Nicol's offers a dizzying selection, so if you have a sweet tooth, a visit will be worthwhile.
