My son is enrolled for the 2013/14 school year and is so excited to pack his lunch bag and backpack and head to school. There is a nice routine there and the activities and crafts vary enough to keep the kids interested and engaged (and prep them for JK). The teachers are excellent and are great at helping encourage all the kids to be involved. Since it's a Co-op, parents do need to volunteer a couple times a month to clean and assist with kids, but that way you get to see how your child does first hand in class. What an excellent program!

I am a professional hockey player that had a season ending injury due to a herniated disc and was told by many doctors I wouldn't play again until I was forwarded to ProActive health. Dr. Laurie McGlaughin has truly put her time an dedication into successfully making me have a full recovery to play again for this up coming season. She is truly one of a kind and wants the best for all of her patients.

I love that Sylvan Learning has opened a centre in Burlington providing tutoring for JK to Grade 12. The tutors are fully certified Ontario teachers and the lessons are individualized to the needs of each student. Awesome.

Both my boys have benefitted greatly from their Sylvan experience. When they go there the focus and enjoy it. I am actually looking forward to their next report cards. They have come a long way. I am glad i did not wait to long to get them help because although the school said they were doing OK, I knew they could do more. Sylvan has been a great experience for all of us. The staff have been amazing they really care about every child and they are very professional.

Highly qualified loving teachers, great parent teacher communication and awesome private spacious playground! Truly a great experience for my child who enjoyed French, Music and Yoga classes. Food is freshly prepared on site and using organic ingredients. Highly recommend it to anyone!

It was my first time at the salon so I was a little nervous.

BBQ lunch meal. Tandoori chicken, lamb kebab, naan and veggies. The meal had value and lots of flavours. I was great to just order a meal off the menu; freshly prepared instead of the usual over indulge at a buffet where sometimes food sits too long.

I have been meaning to write a review since November. I hadn’t been to Julia’s in a while and my husband and I were looking for a restaurant to take some friends from Toronto. After reading the reviews I was a little skeptical and thought perhaps something had changed since we last there. We decided to take out friends there anyway (on Saturday November 20) and couldn’t have had a more pleasant dining experience. The staff was friendly, the food was delicious and the atmosphere was very good. We enjoyed it so much that my husband and I went back there for New Years and had another evening of wonderful food and a cozy table.
Every time I have been to this restaurant I have had a very positive experience and would not hesitate to recommend Julia’s to others.

I love the new decor! My husband and I shared the Warm Salad special, which was fantastic. I had the Duo of Duck and my husband tried the special which was Beef Cheek. Both were really, really good. We ordered a nice bottle of wine, which was very reasonably priced. Service was attentive and professional, with just enough friendliness. We will definitely be back.
Not sure why the previous poster thinks they use pre-made sauces, because they definitely DO NOT!!
