This is a little gem hidden in a corner of the plaza.
Both hair dressers are AMAZING at the way they work the hair. They know what they are doing and every time I get out of there looking like a star.
If anybody is looking for a great hairdresser, make sure you give them a try.

Bella Mia was recommended to me by a friend, whose sister-in-law had her hair done there by Armando and spoke very highly of the salon.
I decided to get my hair cut (going from long to quite short) and went in to book an appointment. I was booked in with Harriet for the following Saturday. Harriet didn't want to cut my hair too short, seeing as it was a drastic difference and suggested leaving it a little longer, then if I decided, I could go back and have it shortened.
I did go back, and I have to say for someone who doesn't like going to the hairdresser that I will definitely go back. Harriet did such an amazing job on my hair and I love it more than I thought I ever would. She understood exactly what I wanted with the colour as well as the cut and it turned out perfectly. I am so thrilled to finally have had a positive experience with a hairdresser as well as the salon itself. The staff is courteous and friendly and I will recommend Bella Mia to anyone looking for a new salon.

I first went into the salon on a Saturday just to talk with them and the time was made for me. Since it was a Saturday, I did not expect them to be able to accommodate me right away. I made an appoint for today, Tuesday, and have now returned home feeling like a new woman. My stylist is Rosina and she is amazing and fun too. The friendliness is awesome. I have already made my next appointment. LOVE THIS PLACE!

I started going to Beautiful Creations Hair Studio for my treatments last summer because it was close to home and my hair was in desperate need of repair! It was dry, brittle and refusing to grow. But Ann-Marie's treatments and trims started the ball rolling in returning my hair to its healthy state! Within months my hair started to look and feel full, the split-ends were gone and my hair was bouncy and shiny! I had natural hair and although i loved it there was a certain look that I was going for that my hair in its natural state just could not grasp; even though I had tried all the curl activating products that are hot on the market right now. So Ann-Marie suggested texturizing to loosen my curls. But I was skeptical because in my opinion texturizing and perming were the same things; and perm was what damaged my hair in the first place! Besides i'd heard too many horror stories from family and friends who had walked in to other hair salons to get a texturize and walked out with bone straight, thin hair. But Ann-Marie patiently educated me on what texturizing was suppose to do and apparently those horror stories were examples of improper texturizing approaches. So after growing weary with not being able to achieve the look I desired I decided to give Ann-Marie's texturizing approach a try and I was blown away by the results! My hair still had its curls but was easier to manage and I was finally able to use the curl activating gels to obtain the look that I so desired! And the compliments I get are clear indications of success! All I can say is that Ann-Marie knows what she is doing! You may walk in to her salon feeling weary but walk out feeling like a winner! I went to Elise after reading some reviews. My hair was almost shoulder length and not flattering at all. We discussed what I had in mind and she asked questioned, it was a good talk. My hair was shampooed and then Elise took over. What a transformation. I was totally in awe. I have never had such a haircut. It is very stylish, suits my face perfectly and took 10 years of my looks. My husband, Daughter and friends could not believe how stylish I looked. Elise is incredibly talented!!

These ladies sell some really lovely plants. They have recently started coming to the University Center and I have bought a total of 5 plants from them. I may purchase more, still.
Not only are they well potted and cared for, but they lady there definitely was helpful when determining what plants were safe for me to get based on my skill level.
I 100% recommend you check them out if you're looking for a good florist in Guelph. Super friendly, great service, quality products.

WOW my experience was amazing and epic.The owner Johnny always give my a different haircut that make my confidence level go up to the sky. He is very professional and lovely to communicate with. I have been cutting my hair with Johnny's Barber for over 10 years and the New look that he has today is a good look. If I can describe the look of the Barbershop I would use Mature, classy and extinguished with a warm welcoming atmosphere. Check out Johnny's Barber

The atmosphere is very friendly and inviting. It doesn't have the stuffiness that you get at some salons. Linda is very good at what she does and has a great eye for style. Definitely would and do recommend her services. Mane on Mill is what Acton needs.
