Theyre the most polite people and man do they make fantastic pizza, poutine and garlic bread. Id really love to give them a 5 star but my only complaint is the price and even though it might be steep you really do get what you pay for.Also recommend they go with loaf bread for the garlic bread the slices are great but I feel that the given 8 might be a tad slim and even if they have to up the price a tad for a loaf I guess thats fine as well. Love the place recommend it over Bills Pizza House.

I have been eating here for a while and finally took a time to write this review. I am extremely happy about the service that is provided by the owner himself, he is very friendly and kind, I am happy he got rid of that wretched woman you call 'waitress'. I will definitely return for sure!!

Had fish and chips at Captain George's yesterday for Good Friday and have to say it was outstanding fish was really good and not greasy and portions were huge my one plate feed two!!! I'll definatly try this fish and chips restaurant again and would really recommend to others as well!! thank you Steve Brown

Whatever the time of day, breakfast is ready at Hooksey's. If you are looking for a quick burger at lunch theirs is great. For dinner try the fish 'n chips, eat in or take out, you won't be disappointed!

We met friends here last week for dinner. The staff were very friendly. The food served was excellent. The fish,chips and salad are very fresh. The fish portion is bigger than before. Clean and smell sweet.

I really enjoyed it. We ordered 3 different rolls and some Sashimi for a group of 4 people and everything was prepared well. The service was great and the sushi was high quality.

Great food...best poutine in Peterborough. My Angel Smokey did not care much for fish...he had to have one final feast of Purveys before he went over the rainbow bridge. Very fussy kitty...so it had to be the best

The roti here is spectacular. They have goat, beef, chicken, veggie, etc.. Just enough heat in the curry, great potatoes, huge portions. So much flavor. It is the best roti I've had, period. The jerk chicken dinner is also very good.
That being said, I have heard some horror stories about the cleanliness of this place. I love that the owner has decorated the place to make it seem like a cultural oasis in an extremely white city, but it just NEEDS TO BE CLEANER. I don't want it yuppiefied. So, stick to food that has high turnover, like the roti.
The uniqueness and quality of the take out at a place like this is something that I would actually miss if I moved away from peterborough. That is saying something. The food is the only reason it is worth risking eating at a place that looks like it could not pass a health inspection.

Get take-out often. Phoning ahead they have it ready in 10 minutes and it is always fresh and fabulous in enviro-friendly cardboard boxes. Best one of the whole franchise!

Hahaha - love the haters comments. So true. Cranky owners but hey, you would be too if you served it up 24/7. BUT... Taste of T&T is tasty. Affordable, good portions. Enjoy before the owners retire.
