I have been eating here for a while and finally took a time to write this review. I am extremely happy about the service that is provided by the owner himself, he is very friendly and kind, I am happy he got rid of that wretched woman you call 'waitress'. I will definitely return for sure!!

Had fish and chips at Captain George's yesterday for Good Friday and have to say it was outstanding fish was really good and not greasy and portions were huge my one plate feed two!!! I'll definatly try this fish and chips restaurant again and would really recommend to others as well!! thank you Steve Brown

Hahaha - love the haters comments. So true. Cranky owners but hey, you would be too if you served it up 24/7. BUT... Taste of T&T is tasty. Affordable, good portions. Enjoy before the owners retire.

We really love the fish and chips here. It is lightly battered and just like authentic English Fish and chips. We have never eaten in, we always get it to go or delivered so i am not sure about table service.
Would highly recommend eating here.

Just looked up on Google for phone# as we have gone lots of times in the past. We go for the seniors special and never had a complaint. Service is exceptional, owner is really friendly and food is out of this world. I never go anywhere else.

Theyre the most polite people and man do they make fantastic pizza, poutine and garlic bread. Id really love to give them a 5 star but my only complaint is the price and even though it might be steep you really do get what you pay for.Also recommend they go with loaf bread for the garlic bread the slices are great but I feel that the given 8 might be a tad slim and even if they have to up the price a tad for a loaf I guess thats fine as well. Love the place recommend it over Bills Pizza House.

We visited MYRTLE KITCHEN on Mothers Day, and I was impressed on how fast they were sold out of all there foods, I saw customer coming back for more food, and when he heard it was done his comment was
man it was so good; Its a clean and open environment. You Will not be disappointed.

I have been frequenting the Scarborough location of this restaurant for a few years now, and was excited when they opened a Pickering location, as I work in Scarborough, but live in Whitby. Awesome roti...and a few of my friends from "the islands" agree whole heartedly! The most tender, juicy and tasty chicken roti, you won't be dissappointed! For a quick snack, try the Guyanese patties!
