When it comes to fine dining, Lord Nelsons definitely does not disappoint. With delicious food and quality service, I would have to say this is one of the classiest restaurants in the Hamilton area.
The first thing you notice when you walk in is the warming and peaceful atmosphere. There are only a handful of tables and a bar in the whole restaurant and it makes for a almost private and intimate dinner experience. This is not a jeans and t-shirt type of place, everyone inside is dressed professional and fancy. I would recommend a dress and heels for the women and dress pants and button down shirt for the men. And obviously from my previous statements this is not really what I would call a family restaurant. With the close tables and quiet music I would think children would feel out of place at an establishment like this. Nonetheless I feel like it is a great date night place, very romantic and relaxing.
The menu I would say is perfect for the restaurant. It includes a variety of different meal choices but doesn't overwhelm the customer. We had chosen the Peppercorn steak and the Filet mignon for our main courses. I would say that they were better then what I expected, cooked and seasoned perfectly, I would definitely recommend there food to anyone. The main courses range anywhere from $20 - $60 which is a little higher then your average dinner but in the end I think it is worth the little extra price for the quality.
The only concern I had about going here was their location. It was a little difficult to find as it is located in a small plaza tucked away beside a laundromat. Also the exterior of the restaurant is not what you would expect for a high class place like this, and I didn't find it all that appealing. The front doors are very Castle like and there are no windows at all. At first glance I thought it was closed. But if you can get past that It was great experience and I would recommend it to anyone.

Very nice place for a bite to eat. I really like have breakfast or lunch there. The staff is always cheerful and the food is quick to be served. Great family restaurant or even after church brunch.

It was amazing to finally find real food made with fresh ingredients. The food at Pita Republic was delicious and filling. This restaurant is known for its great Salad, looks like it harvested from local farmers, and the food served hot with fresh Falafel crafted with homemade Tahini source. The shop is both clean and tidy. The staff members greeted us with smiles as warm as the food they served. I would thoroughly recommend Pita Republic to anyone who appreciates great and healthy food.

Fabulous small business restaurant! Delicious Jamaican food and friendly staff! When you taste the Curry chicken and jerk chicken balls, close your eyes and you feel like you are in Jamaica!

Koto sushi is fantastic. I work nearby and went her after with some office buds instead of the usual shoeless joes burger. The sushi is absolutely phenomenal, probably the best sushi ive had in Ontario. Service is fast. I would recommend all you can eat. they give you so much variety and it just keeps on coming. I definitely plan on coming back again and would recommend this to couples or groups of friends looking for something new.

We go there every year. Service is always great. Food is always good too.
The chili on the hotdogs were nice & spicy. The fries were just right.
It does get a little busy, sometimes you don't always get a seat inside and they don't have debit, cash only. But still, it's a landmark and we'll always continue to go back.
