This was our first visit (certainly not the last). I'm not sure what we expected but it was not the ambiance/service/good food that we received. Nice building, well laid out. Not too crowded. A bit noisy when full to capacity but pleasant noise. The food was excellent, the waiter not leaving until we had cut into the steak to ensure it was cooked to our liking. Prices could compete with the low end steak houses in the US. Certainly a nice change from normal Winnipeg prices. Wait staff *****

Had a fantastic time at Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers in Winnipeg. The service was quick. The staff were kind. They moved with the easy energy of people who actually like their jobs, and that warmth spread to every table in the room. The burgers came out hot.
