Whenever visiting my dad in Kingston, we go to this place for Sunday breakfast every time. He goes most Sundays and I know why.
The wait staff is friendly, fast and efficient.
The food is plentiful, served hot and there is a non-stop filling up of coffee! Prices are very reasonable for the portions.
Be warned! This is a VERY popular place, so expect a delay when you get there because a lot of people are regulars and they too have to wait. Once you are seated, however, you should be satisfied with the overall experience!

This review is for early December 2010. Group of about 12 people for lunch buffet on a weekday. I believe the total cost with a pop was about $14 each including tip and tax so that was great.
As in my other review, we felt like Kingston had no decent Chinese until Panda Garden came along. We've had buffet there several times as party of two but this was the first bigger group. We had called ahead for a table, which was smart as the place was full for lunch.
The buffet for Panda Garden was always impressive for variety and regular turnover/top-ups of the hot dishes but they expanded a couple of years ago to try some basic Thai and sushi dishes. The Thai and sushi are not the world's greatest but they are fine and nice for variety and that's ok because Kingston has so many other specialty restaurants for that if you want it.
The variety of ice cream and desserts, as mentioned in other reviews, is impressive though we rarely make space for it in our multiple tours around the hot and cold stuff.
What we enjoy about the buffet are:
- wonton soup with green onions on the side if you like to add them
- egg rolls
- sweet and sour chicken balls
- General Tao chicken
- other beef and vegetable dishes depending on what's there that day
We find going in around 4:30-4:45pm on weekdays when the dinner service is getting started is ideal. Everything is fresh and hot and not as crowded as it is at 5:00pm or later. We haven't had a problem with food sitting around but then we don't try to go for buffet at mid-afternoon either.
We have always found the buffet servers to be pleasant and efficient with taking away dirty plates, topping up soft drinks and preparing the bill. Atmosphere is clean and pleasant with ample space to walk around with plates of food.

Ordered take-out from there tonight, and it was fabulous! We went the Thai route in ordering, but I think even the basic Chinese would be great as well. Will definitely order again and recommend to friends!

Can't say enough about this place. My wife and I discovered E&A's 2 years ago and go back at least once a month. I read some negative comments on this page and frankly, I think that these were written by E&A's competition because for the most part the comments were complete rubbish. We have never had a bad experience there, and the food and service has been cosistently top notch. They have the best seafood platter we have ever enjoyed . Their meals although pricey are filling and delicious. It can be cold if you sit in the front in the winter though. If you sit at the chef's table you can watch your meal being prepared. Someone commented that the steaks are pre-cooked and warmed up?? I have watched my raw steak cooked to perfection in frontt of my own eyes so I don't know were that comment came from. We highly recommend E&A's and as a matter of fact, we are going there tonight again!
P.S. They make the best Ceaser I have ever had too.

My favorite asian food restaurant in the Quinte Area by far as I am not a big fan of the local buffets.
My only wish is that they would serve delicious Pho. The vermicelli dish with spring rolls and grilled pork is a delight. The lemon grass dish is another treat. Wonton soup is hot and yummy.
Service is excellent. At times, it can get busy during the lunch rush, I did not have any problems. Take out is just as good.
The interior decor is very nice as well. The parking is never a problem in the King George Square.

Very impressed with the front desk checking all Covid-19 documents, along with proof of IDENTITY as well as phone number. Food was delicious. Whoever is running the kitchen knows what they are doing. Very enjoyable experience.

I love this place. You can't beat the house salad. The food and atmosphere are also great, however there are a few seats which are really poor, some almost sit you in the washroom the other sits you in the kitchen
