We toured all of the Peterborough retirement residences when we were looking for a spot for my father. Applewood immediately felt warm and welcoming. We have never regretted the decision. They have provided a home-like atmosphere, with caring staff, and plenty of activities for those so inclined. The management response during this COVID pandemic has been nothing short of heroic. Dominic and Terry were excellent. Quality of work and professionalism far exceeded our expectations. They came in did work far beyond our expectations for the final result. Hard workers, very clean (never left a mess behind), very efficient, the time estimate they provide is very accurate and the quality of their work is hard to beat. We will definitely call them again in the future. Only complaint is that they don't specialize in other areas because I'd get them to do ALL my renovations!

Ron made a great effort to rebuild my 1885 decorative chimney before the roofers came.
At the same time they rebuilt a brick wall in my yard and repointed the house! They were very nice, fun to have around, and hard working. All in all they did an exquisite job on everything they touched. I'd be happy to have them back but they did the kind of job that will last for decades.
Thanks tons Ron and to your guys as well!!! I'm happy to give you a reference if you should ever need one!

Dr. Jibb sold his practice to a great dentist, Dr. Neil Gupta! I was nervous on my first visit, but Brenda assured me I was in good hands. She was right! The two work well together, with great flow and banter. I recommend Dr. Neil & Brenda for your dental work!

I went in here to have my sunglasses fixed. I purchased the sunglasses at Nelms. The pin would pop and the frames would fall apart into two pieces. Nelms took 3 months to replace the pin. So I went elsewhere when it popped again. The lady at Green Eyeware was delightful. She came up with an idea for a more permanent fix. And it work. Great one on one skills. She treated me like a person and not a customer. My new go to stop for all eye ware.

It was a true pleasure dealing with Hideaway Homes. After looking for a suitable home for months we decided to build instead. With the weather turning we needed to act fast.
