The food here is awesome- great prices, fast, yummy! I have to comment on the review thats that badmouth the servers. First of all the one reviewer says her usual order is 2 drinks. then blathers on about how she gets cut off. If you act like an idiot after 2 drinks then you deserve it. If 2 drinks is your usual order then your also cheap and probably just a jealous shrew that hates any attractive servers. Having said that- they are probably better off without your whopping $7.00 bill.

First time there. Great over all experience. Food was delicious and plentiful. Waitress awesome. Loved the selection of music playing in the background. Happy customers all around. What a gem in Simcoe County!

Great local pub. Unpretentious, relaxed atmosphere. Good food consistently. Fun evenings like Poker nights (Sunday), Karaoke (Thursday), and special events like UFC, St. Pat's day, Halloween parties, etc. are always a good time. Free pool on Tuesdays & Thursdays. Food specials daily. Big TVs for the sports fans, video games for the kids.

I have to admit that I am a bit biased because I live within walking distance of this venue. That aside, I can't image that I am going to properly capture the true atmosphere, ambiance and sincere love that this place has and regularly does generate for me on every visit.
I have been going to the Corner House with my wife for about 4 years now. The mood of the place has changed a bit over that time, but for those who don't live within walking distance, let me assure you that the drive to the nether regions of Keswick proper are well worth it.
What it is: A classic small family restaurant that serves impeccably designed food at a reasonable price. It is a local staple, a place where regulars who enjoy high quality cuisine go to enjoy the ideas and execution of the house chefs on a monthly and even weekly basis. Picture the best restaurant in Toronto without the attitude, drama and aloof wait staff. You’re getting close, but it still doesn’t capture it.
What it is Not: A stuffy, snooty high class eatery where you have to look down your nose at the wait staff, owners and fellow guests. This is a place of food and friendship. If you are not prepared to get a hug when you enter and a hug when you leave, go somewhere else. This restaurant is not for the shy or faint of heart. It is for those that are willing to declare their love of great food; great wine and excellent company and live the experience out loud.
You will get out of the Corner House what you put into it. It is the best of both worlds. World class fine dining by the beautify Lake Simcoe, and a venue small and intimate enough to attract the likes of Bob De Niro on a regular basis. He comes for the Pumpkin Cheese Cake like the rest of us caught in its magical spell.
FYI Christine makes the Pumpkin Cheesecake just like she makes all the deserts.

Second time around, drove out of our way for a late dinner on the way to Muskoka.
First time I had the meatloaf and my partner a burger. The meatloaf was moist and very flavourful with a heap of mashed potatoe piled on with crisp fried onions and gravy. Veggies were fresh carrots and cauliflower and peas, fresh not frozen!
The burger was 2 patties on a hoagie with a hot sauce and fresh cut fries , enough for 2 people.
The second time in my partner had the meatloaf, consistently as good as last time. I had one of the specials, a cajun blackened catfish, it was pretty good but not done the traditional scortching hot cast iron frypan way, just broiled. it was still good and moist and blackened far more than bronzed as requested.
Service was efficient considering they were short of staff and the place was packed.
Best try and make reservations if you can, or take your chances, it is always busy,a testament to the effort they put into their product.
Food done the way that only pride and care can produce, great value and worth the extra effort to get there and the wait for seating.
Restaurants that get it right deserve the patronage, this one certainly does.

Little Bangkok took over the Spiago restaurant in the Glenwoods mall in the corner across from Scotia Bank in Keswick. What a great spot! ... the atmosphere is nice and the staff are very attentive.
The food was delicious and served hot. We all ordered dishes and then shared. The waitress was very helpful in choosing what to order and what food complimented other dishes.
Friendly staff, great food and they even have take out and lunch specials!!
Affordable and fantastic!

Our group of 4 attended May 24 2013. Started with one of the best ceasar salads we have had in a long time, huge fabulous prime rib with fresh horseradish and finished with an excellent crepe big enough for 4 to share! From start to finish an excellent meal served by very pleasant wait staff. We would highly recommend the Lakeside Bistro. (Holland Landing, ON)

We live in the US and spend the summers in Balm Beach. There aren't too many Sundays that we don't eat breakfast at Steelers. The food is good and we have always had great service. It's December now and I'm looking forward to May.
