Went to a reputable jeweler in downtown Ottawa with two Rolex watches that I found in my dad stuff. The gentleman looked at them under a magnifying glass and told me that they were both fakes. Being a person that likes to have a second opinion I went to 436 Bank Street to the watch Clinic spoke to the lady there they opened up both watches and found it one was fake, but the other was in 1950s genuine Rolex Oyster. My late grandparents old clock had not worked in years. Not wanting to try and repair it myself , I decided to email Schafer's Clock Repair on a Sunday afternoon. knowing they were not open till Monday , to my surprise I got a phone call in 1o minutes.
Peter Schafer called my while he was sitting at the airport in Calgary ( visiting family ) He walked me thru a very simple thing to get my clock back up ant ticking !
