I have very thick hair and went to 3 other stylists in Parksville to try to get my hair thinned and cut into a long shag cut. I went to Dorothy at Full Throttle hair Garage and she did a fabulous job. Finally, a stylist who can properly cut my hair. I am very happy and can honestly say it is the best cut I have had for years. Very reasonable price, too. Yay Dorothy! I will definitely be back.

I was passing through town and got a puncture in my tire. I was in a rush, dropped in and they were able to fix my tire on the spot, took about 20 minutes. Nice guys and really fast. Happy with the service.

I bought a Orchid for a dear friend on Dec. 06, 2011 and it is now May 14, 2012 and the Orchid is still in full bloom and my friend could even enjoy it for Mothers Day yesterday.

I heard about a firearms dealer in Campbell River and being new to the area and being an outdoor enthusiast I thought I would check them out. In just a few moments of being in there you realize these folks have been in business a while and have a great attitude towards their customers what struck me as unique was that they carry items that are proven or desirable by consumers who know what they want. We were extremely pleased with this company, they gave us a quote for all the costs and they showed up on time, did not take any shortcuts (actually went over and above in some cases)and they finished the job on time and on budget. Very personable, accommodating and the attention to detail was astounding. (for example: they walk your property when done to make sure that there are no stones or debris that could get hit with your lawnmower and cause damage)

The owner and his employees at all 3 of the store locations are very knowledgeable, honest, and so friendly to deal with. Jeff, the owner, has been in business locally for almost 20 years. His knowledge of the metal markets is excellent, and as a grader of coins, banknotes, stamps, jewellery, etc. etc. he is accurate and fair. The stores have a great selection of world coins and banknotes, and also new and estate gold and silver jewellery. I would highly recommend a visit to the Gold Silver Guy before any of the mobile dealers that set up for a couple of days in the mall...Jeff will exceed their offers practically all of the time.
