Reasonably priced place. Came here for lunch. The tacos were fantastic. We ended up coming back for breakfast a couple days after. The huevos rancheros were one of the best I've had.

My wife and I used to love strolling the city and ending up at the Irish Heather for a pint (or three) and some fantastic authentic pub fare. This was in their original location. Then, we had a family and it took us a while to get back but we finally got back to check out their new digs and new menu. While the beer selection is still fantastic we were disappointed in the overall vibe. The food was still good but the value took a bit of a hit from their original location. While it was a great experience overall we still miss the original.

Going along Broadway I have noticed the restaurant many times and finally decided to drop in for brunch to give it a go. We sat outside, we didn't mind waiting for a table there. Service was fine and the food came fairly soon. I had an excellent smoked ham benedict which came with cubed fries and a very fresh salad.

Ethical Bean is one of my favourite places in Vancouver to get my coffee. The lattes and espresso is great - even the drip coffee is amazing.
Really like that they're Fairtrade and Organic, and they support local events and charities.

I love middle Eastern food but it's hard to find a restaurant that does it good. And my partner's a vegan and there's so much here to eat.
The persian chicken plate is made from free-range chicken and smothered in a great selection of spices - i think they said 18 different ones!
This is my favorite place for baklava too. The syrup they us is perfect.

The pasta at Old Spaghetti Factory is good to eat and you get decent value for the money. The pasta can tend to be ordinary from the perspective of the selections but they put together good food and they offer a fun atmosphere and decor that makes them a good family restaurant for when you are downtown with your family. Call me a die-hard but I liked it better when these stores were all called Radio Shack. That said they are still the same in a lot of respects. This is still the place to go for all kinds of audio and video doodads that you just won't find all in one place without going to the Source. What's more is that they offer a great selection of other unique products that aren't often available anywhere else like USB devices that capture 35mm slides. They have done a good job in keeping with the times too and are quite a major Bell Mobility dealer and offer a selection of flat screen TVs and computer accessories too.

You can generally get a good meal at the T&C coffee shop. We have gone there for years, so this review covers many different meals and many different visits. We always go back there; and sometimes they have an oustantding Sunday Brunch in their dining room.

Made to order sandwiches on wonderful chewy bread. We tried the pork and the fish varieties accompanied by our side choices of pickled vegetables and green salad. All tasted fresh and tasty and unique blend. The brewed unsweetened iced tea was a nice finish. The restaurant has this wooden, rustic open feel. There is an entrance on both Powell and Alexander streets. Sufficient street pay parking at the edge of gastown.
