This is my favourite restaurant. period. I don't get the chance to travel to Vancouver much but we've debated flying in just for dinner at Ouisi. There isn't a thing on the menu you should not order. Great portion sizes, great flavours - I crave them while back home in Ontario.

This is a great little stop and eat Thai restaurant. They give you sit down meals at to-go prices. The decor is simple, bright, and very clean. There is no "Thai" decor except the King's picture, but they have a few tables as well as stool seating along window with a view of West Broadway .
I like this place because it's very fast and a really good value. Their Combo specials are under $10.00 and the lunch specials even cheaper! ( I think they are 7.99) The portions are perfect and for the price of a fast food meal you get authentic Thai curry and rice loaded with your choice of meat and veggies. It is almost all Thai people that work there and if you can handle the heat you can ask for "Thai style" and get the dishes with a much hotter spicy flavor.
So next time you are doing a little shopping on West Broadway and got a rumble in your stomach drop by!
They are located 1/2 a block West from MacDonald street on Broadway on the South Side of the street. They are fast, but if you want to take your time there is free parking on the side street next to them.

If you are ever whipping up Asian food at home this is the store you need to visit for your ingredients. They carry everything, literally everything you could ever possible need on your ingredient list. The aisles are fun to walk and marvel at the products that you will rarely if ever see on the shelves of your local mainstream supermarket. The bakery is great with fresh custard and pork buns and makes a great spot to stop for a snack. Their seafood section is incredible too with tank after tank of live seafood of all types and descriptions. Check out T&T Supermarket!

Lisa was amazing! She did the makeup for both my wedding and a separate reception. Very accommodating for the consultation and on the event days. Quality of products used was excellent and prices were reasonable. She is extremely experienced in different techniques and very up to date on current trends. Highly recommend!

Urban Fare is another very neat place for the foodie in you. They offer a terrific selection of ready-made foods that you can assemble for an impromptu picnic on the seawall or take home for an easy dinner. They offer an excellent selection of produce and carry many organic and many unusual items and the produce always looks great. Their meat and seafood is also incredible and is one of the few places that I have ever seen Kobe beef available for sale. Did I mention the cheese? Oh my goodness the cheese! The selections are varied and excellent and there are often samples of cheese that you can try before you buy. Moving into the aisles introduces you to an awesome selection of brands and products that you won't find at an average grocery store and they are fantastic! Urban Fare is a must for the foodie in you!

Sorry to hear that you are leaving, we have had such fun, picking out fantastic brollies,some with skulls and hearts and some just plain. We will be in before your closing date and choose one more for the road!!!

5 years ago our cat was hit by a car and it was 11:30pm by the time we found him. When he was barely able to move, we knew that we had to get him some care and fast. Our normal vet was closed and there seemed to be few options. Then, looking in the Yellow Pages, we found the ad for Vancouver Animal Emergency Clinic and thank goodness we did. As it turned out, our cat was in shock and suffering from a broken pelvis and a dislocated hip. Without the expert care and fast response of the veterinarians at the Animal ER it is likely that our cat would not have made it until morning. The caring staff ensured that they got him the care that he needed overnight until we was stable enough to be transferred to our vet for further treatment. The fact that he is dozing in the chair beside me today, 5 years later, is testament to the wonderful care provided at the Animal ER. If you find yourself in the unfortunate position of having to deal with a sick or injured animal you love and don't know where to turn, call the Animal ER.

The perfect company to call If you want to rent your property in Vancouver. They provide excellent service, they’re knowledgeable and know the residential tenancy act very well.
