They get you in fast do good work. They are friendly and knowledgeable. The owner is a really nice guy we had something happen to our vehicle and it wouldnt drive they brought the our vehicle to the shop and fixed it same day and worked out a payment plan so we didnt have to wait to get it done. The staff was exceptional in all regards. They did an inspection for me regarding a noise in the rear of my car on a walk-in basis immediately. They provided me with a written quote with in minutes of diagnosis. They provided me with all the options with no pressure to decide on whether to proceed. I have been going to J. Max mechanical exclusively for over 25 years. When I purchased a new Civic in 2006, I skipped the dealership's mechanical section and stayed with J. Max. I'm a woman and all the staff are respectful. They don't talk down to me or over my head.
