I took ownership of a 31/2 year old Newfoundland named Hercules three years ago. I grew up in Newfoundland and always loved the Newfoundland and wanted to own one. I waited until I retired to do so. In NL this summer I picked up The Newfoundland Dog by Robert C. Parsons. What a wonderful book of true stories about this magnificent dog!
