Great sushi for a good price. Just the parking is not the best and always super busy with not a lot of seating inside. Would love if they expanded and had better parking. But everything else is great!

You have to remember when going here that this is a wine tasting room, not a place to have dinner. The wine list is imaginative and approachable. The service on a good night is excellent, on a bad night is so-so, but the staff have always been very helpful with the wine choices, pairings, and flight recommendations. The food is charcuterie, not full meals. Use this place to meet up for a pre-dinner drink, or to end off the night with some wine appreciation.

You gotta eat Veras Meat,...seriously though...probably the best burger ever!
Fresh, juicy beef with no bits like some beef burgers and shredded real Cheddar Cheese.You can get a plethora of condiments for your burger , the fries would have been great if they were a little more cooked. Not cheap but worth the money and generous in portion size. Rich,meaty Chilli Fries too! Great counter staff. Daily specials. Fun,colorful decor and very clean shop. Veras is THEE burger shack...I can't wait for the next visit...

I like this restaurant. Going there for a long time. You can watch the chef cooking in an open kitchen. Unfortunately, this also causes lots of cooking smell when you eat inside. Never ate anything which I did not like here. Servers are always friendly.

I was pleasantly surprised to enjoy a nice meal in a department store. My table had their pizza and soup and it was fairly reasonably priced and very good. The service was attentive as well.

The restaurant has a colourful decor, friendly staff and overall a cheerful atmosphere. They say they cook authentic Malaysian food; well I can verify this, however, I can say that I love every dish on their menu. They were voted 'Best Other Asian Restaurant' in 2008 and 'Best South East Asian Restauranr' in 2009. I think this alone says a lot.

Be extremely cautious with these restaurants in their billing. I have found the stores to
1)charge more than the price posted in the store
2)round up on non-cash sales. Rounding up can only be done in Canda with CASH payment. Not with debit or credit.
Ask for FRESH PATTY as the patties are cooked in a bunch and sit in a tray until served. This causes them to be cold and dry when served to you

I have been here several times, close to the entertainment district and serves good food. It isn't busy, busy which is nice actually so you can have a nice conversation with your table mates. The service is always good.

We had the crab cakes and a salad to start and we both so enjoyed the sabelfish entree. It was one of the best sablelfish fish I have ever had, it was so moist and served overall in a healthy manner. We shared their chocolate molten cake dessert which was gooey good. Just as we were about to leave we noticed live music at 9pm so we stayed a little more longer to enjoy with some hot drinks. The service was very attentive. We were here on a weeknight so it was not that busy.

This is a great chioce for weekend Brunch. Good sausages and eggs. It can get busy so I go before 10am to get a table without a wait. The back patio has a great atmosphere, especially on summer evenings.

i have been to desi downtown more than 7 times since i discovered it ,i have tried other places and not only indian but all different restuarants but the food at desi downtown is mouth watering i say its the best.im planning all my paries there.the service is great and the management seems to be very accomodating and make you feel you are home
