This was a sigularly phenomenal experience. All of our food was lick-your-plate excellent. I love their investment in local food producers. Their housemade breads, butters, pastas totally show it. We also were treated to a random complimentary amuse-bouche of a pork terrine with caramelized onions on crostini. Vanilla creme brulee was the single best creme brulee I've ever had--PERFECTLY burnt sugar. Truly amazing prices for food this good.
ONLY down thought? Cocktails are expensive and taste like actual booze. Given that I'm normally a fruity liqour drinker, they were hard drinks to swallow! A connaisseur might feel differently. [Had Autumn sidecar/dark & stormy]

Excellent and cute family owned restaurant in Little Italy, Toronto. We had the pleasure of celebrating sweet Nonna's birthday (chef) We recommend the bruschetta, caprese salad, pizza. The service was great and friendly, really enjoyed this restaurant. Great authentic Italian food. Will definitely be back.

The flavour of the pasta was amazing. The aged beef was exquisite. Service was second to none. Wine parings were excellent. Thank you for a great evening. I wish I had the recipe for the pasta.

Excellent and cozy restaurant in Little Italy in Toronto. The restaurant has a cute outdoor patio and fireplace. The staff was great, they kept checking up on us, gave us a complimentary dessert due to noise level that didnt bother us at all. The appetizers were delicious and the mushroom risotto with truffle oil was mouthwatering. The stuffed ravioli with butternut squash and pecans was rich and perfect. I would definitely go back or highly recommend this beautiful gem.

Always a great experience coming to the Diplomatico. you'd think that Nonna was in the kitchen the food is so delicious and authentic but close enough the chef their Malic serves up his own signature style on a plate each and every time we come in.

On a minus ten degree day, I braved the wind and found Bar Buca for their Winterlicious lunch menu. Ordered the zucchini appetizer with the Italian wedding soup as the main, a biscotti and something like a crisp cookie wafer for desserts. Warmed me up that day
