Went to DC with the child for open house and decided to look for lunch on the way to 401. We passed it and turned back as we didn't want fast food. It's a tiny place with 2 tables and 4 rickety chairs but we are happy we stopped there. The girl (owner's daughter it turns out) behind the counter was sweet and efficient. She made us 4 samosas & 4 shawarmas that were delicious and filling. The owner provided 2 free bottles of water for our 1st time there as well as a orange drink for the two guys ahead of us, also their 1st time. Friendly, fun and good food too. We put the tables together and had an excellent lunch. There's just no elegant way to eat shawarmas so you need lots of napkins. Wouldn't want to eat there in the winter as it probably gets quite cold in there.

Word out on street is this is Brampton's Best Old Style Chinese Restaurant. I brought another hungary man with us so party of 4. June 9th/2011 at 18:40hrs we are here to rate the restaurant. Free tea was served and order:(1)Shrimp in Lobster Sauce $14.00/ (1) Cantonese Noodle with BBQ Pork $8.00/ 1/2 Roast Duck $9.00/ (1) Beef with Chinese Broccoli $9.50/ (1) Mushroom Fried Rice $7.50/ (3) Shrimp Won Ton Soups $10.50/ (1) Crab Meat Corn Soup $4.00/ (4) Steam Rice Bowls $6.00....FOOD: The lobster sauce was watery canadian style..roast duck was perfect...fries noodle was perfect..beef and broccoli was old school(beef was tender)..rice was good light soya sauce was used-good!...Soups was homemade and very Yummy...Brampton Best is Still#1...I am comming back.....

The food is good quality, but because they are tapas, prices add up and the food is influenced by Vancouver Japanese food... so it's not authentic, which was disappointing. Staff is really friendly. It's so incredibly loud here because they cheer and yell like they do in Izakayas in Japan.

Kismet is my go-to place for Indian/Bangladeshi food in Waterloo. I usually get take out because the space is pretty small, and I've never had a problem with the people at the cash. My partner is not a fan of cilantro and they've never given as a problem when we ask for items without.
Their naan is the best I've had in Waterloo (Grain of Salt in Cambridge is the only place I've tried with better naan). Much better than the sort of pancakey stuff I've seen at other places *cough*Curry in a Hurry.
I really like their aloo gobi, which is potato and caulifower with curry spices. Their chicken korma is also delicious.

I am a patron using a disbility device and while the restaurant is not "accessible" perse they do their best to make you feel comfortable. Now aside from that, I've been visiting this restaurant for roughly 20 years. My Mother and I found it a long time ago looking for a good Japanese restaurant that wasn't all the way downtown. The have great sushi, sashimi, tempura, teriyaki, soups & my favourite Japanese style salad! Decor could use an update but it's clean and comfortable. There's a hidden entry from parking behind the restaurant or the double doorway at the front. Last night I decided to eat in for the first time since becoming differently abled so to speak. I had the Legend Boston roll with crab, Japanese mayonaise and salmon topper. It was very rich so I suggest if you try this do it with several people so everyone can have a taste, it was lovely but too rich for just one person to demolish. I had the shrimp tempura dinner which has tempura vegetables with it. Last night the tiger shrimp were lovely and fresh and the mix of vegetable composed of squash, sweet potato, onion and broccoli were very yummy. They make amazing tempura sauce. The meal comes with salad, miso soup, rice and huge plate of tempura so again great for sharing! I took home a cucumber roll for my son but seriously considered their toonie Tuesday offer which is a California roll, max of 2 given the offer, but my son is new to Japanese os a simple cucumber roll. I have plenty left over for lunch and am hoping the tempura will crisp up under the broiler today! Thanks to A.J. & staff for making it a lovely experience with my needs ;o)

This was my First time at a real Sushi resturant , what a nice experience, they had not been open long, and the service was great, lovely atmosphere, clean quiet calm, it was a nice dining experience not just a meal, we have since returned many time and the standards are still high.

This is by far the best sushi in Toronto. The Kokyo roll is the best, along with a whole bunch of other special rolls. If you love sashimi, then get the Johnny roll. Love this place!

We decided to come here from the reviews others gave. Glad we did. It's not all you can eat though. Food very fresh , service excellent. Definitely come back again. Prices are great too.
